Our Process

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with LMC! Here is what to expect in the process.

01.

Submit Application

Fill out and submit the online volunteer application for the desired position above.

Following submission, please keep an eye on your email address entered in the application for an invitation to our interview day.

Onboarding is conducted in quarterly sessions. Deadlines for each quarter's applications are January 1st, April 1st, July 1st, and October 1st.

02.

Interview Day

Interviews are held once per quarter, with each on-boarding session featuring a dedicated interview day. Interview day is typically scheduled during the second full week of the on-boarding month, and prospective applicants will be contacted with exact dates and times as we get closer to each session.

At our Interview Days, prospective volunteers will have the opportunity to meet staff representatives from different departments, learn more about the positions they've applied for, and ask questions one-on-one.

03.

Availability & Fit

Following interviews based on applicant availability and department needs, individuals will receive invitations to our volunteer orientation event where they will learn more about LMC, how important our volunteers are to the function of our center, and receive more specific information regarding their positions. Additional training is also included on your first few shifts. Orientation is typically held during the third full week of the onboarding month, with invited participants receiving specific details as the date approaches.

Even if a fit is not found initially, we encourage those interested to stay on our applicant list for future opportunities to attend interview days.
